Our Mission and Goals 

Mission Statement

Command Performance is a 501(c)3 community based organization with the purpose to foster an exciting cultural environment in the greater Danbury area by bringing and promoting a variety of professional musical events with a foundation in classical, jazz and dance. Our goal is to make available to our children, students and all music lovers in our community, quality performances that will entertain, stimulate and inspire the audience while reflecting our ethnic diversity.

We want to enhance the Danbury region by

• Exposing people including children and students to a variety of professional classical, jazz and dance events

• Enhancing the cultural image of the area

• Promoting Danbury and local businesses by offering events that will make the area an attractive alternative for entertainment  

Purpose of Organization

The primary purpose will be the promotion and holding of professional classical and jazz music and dance performances for the residents of the greater Danbury area.

The secondary purpose of Command Performance’s endeavors is to promote classical and jazz music and dance to the students in the greater Danbury area. This purpose is to provide an appreciation for classical and jazz music to the youngest residents who have not the means and or the ability to go to events such as these. We will accomplish this through a partnership with area public, private schools and Western Connecticut State University through master classes and student enrichment programs.

Long Term Goals

Command Performance would like to maintain the highest standards and aggressively build a non-profit organization that would consistently hold events with top classical, jazz and eclectic artistic events that rival any performance arts program in the northeast region of this country.
